Entrepreneurship Culture and Grass Roots Values - Bringing on the Heat

In life, business or otherwise, coming to the negotiating table, every person brings with them their own set of values, culture, expectations and experiences. Most astute business people will tell you, its nothing personal, its just business. Leave your emotions and titles at the door.

This has not exactly been easy for me as an entrepreneur who is developing business around the subject area of "emotions". Coupled with "cross border communication", with a lot of different thought, ideas and opinions at the table. There are tough decisions to make when you are going all in.

Fit in or fu#$ off. Unite the clans or divide them. . How do we bridge the continental divide to cut a deal that is going to make everyone's heart sing with joy? What are the best possible positive outcomes for the wolfpack?

Let us begin by separating the "wheat" from the "chaff" and understanding the cultural dynamic that is "at play". What is acceptable to one environment, is not acceptable in another.

The bases are loaded, the game is "tied up" and a time out has been called. The jury is out and deliberating. It is time to bring on the "heat".

The elders circle "consulairie" has been consulted. Can you leave your values out of the decision? How much do you give away and what are the terms of that deal?

The captain of the ship is accountable for the those beneath. When the "team drops the ball" and vice versa...it impacts the the "entire company". There is no 'I" in "team" however, when the "axe" comes down....it is always the head of the leader.

Lessons learned from entrepreneurship...always ensure that you have all "the facts" and double check your inner circle. Not everything is always as it seems however, everything is most certainly interconnected!

In life and business, the higher your rise, the harder you fall. If your "personal has been up for discussion on the public forum from your inner circle". Seal up the cracks right tight...for your protection! Everyone deserves to have a "trusting circle of people around them'.

Know who you are dealing with. Although, this is sometimes not easy, if your visions for life and business are not a match...let them go. Divorce is never easy, however, when team members below do not bring "accurate" information, it impacts the decision maker.

There is an equal and opposite polarity in every situation. No one can disassociate from choices. One certainly appreciates the trusting circle that they are left when it is all said and done. However, its not all shit's and giggles when you have to face the music.

In any equation, business, life, family, friendship or otherwise, know your bottom line and when to say, "enough"! Listen to your intuition and value your "truth". Those that are resonating and playing at your level will either stay or they will go. Can you look at yourself in the mirror and be eh ok with your decision and choices?

When it comes to fusing together values, community, business and sacrifice. What price would you pay for freedom? Would you die for it? Would you kill for it? Its personal. Its my life and its my business. What is that worth?

Time and history will be my judge. For now though, silence is my language, can you hear it?
